Twitter is introducing new changes in its Brand as well as in its offices. After releasing the new Bird logo, Twitter is now moving in to new space in the Mid-Market neighborhood of San Francisco having a new office address: Twitter HQ, 1355 Market Street, San Francisco
Photographer from San Francisco, Troy Holden clicked some beautiful shots of the new office, which takes up three floors. As you can see in the photographs this 200,000 sq ft Office is full of innovations.
The space features a yoga studio, a rooftop garden and an arcade—the desired elements in a workplace along with lots of images of birds.
The move is not important just for Twitter but also marks a big change for the City of San Francisco; the area surrounding the new Twitter Office is long due for a revival. The place was considered undesirable, but city officials are hoping that Twitter’s presence can turn things around.
According to the San Francisco Examiner, the company is also working with the city to restore the area by improving transit, creating new dedicated bike lanes in the area and a new police substation on nearby Sixth Street.
In 2011, Twitter was contemplating to move out of San Francisco but opted to stick around after the city’s Board of Supervisors approved a tax break that eliminated the payroll tax for new hires.
