Online Videos Replacing the Television (Infographic)

The Internet is replacing the fixture in the American lifestyle: The television set.
 Free Internet Television.

We once enjoyed the daily shows, movies, and even sports on the television set in the comfort of our living room. Today we seek the same pleasure on Internet.

There are still loyal fans of the television but watching online videos with friends, on a street, at a café or while commuting has its own pleasure.

Viewers are downloading or streaming their favorite shows from online sites these days as they are constantly on the move and it gives them the facility of anytime anywhere viewing.

For Example recently, for the first time ever Netflix saw viewers watching a staggering 1 billion hours of content in a single month which shows how quickly Internet television and movie streaming has permeated modern society.

Not just the Television set, Internet has replaced the other aspects of physical world.

For example, e-books and tablets are replacing the textbooks in the classrooms, online tutorials are preferred over physical lessons, video-chatting has replaced long-distance phone calling.

With the portability, flexibility and the number of choices online videos offer, it’s hard to resist the technology.
