A rural area of southwestern China was hit by a 6.6-magnitude earthquake on Saturday that claimed over 180 lives and injured approximately 11,000. Apparently, a Chinese journalist in a midst of her marriage ceremony when the quake struck but the reporter surprisingly got right to work to cover the incident -- still donned in her wedding dress and veil. As identified by the South Morning China Post, Chen Ying is an anchorwoman at a local news network. The footage has since gone viral on Chinese social media service Weibo, where users are acknowledging her "professional spirit," according to the Post. Several affected by the earthquake, news networks and official government agencies have also turned to Weibo to share news and photographs of the event and its aftermath.

The Drop Test conducted by the guys at Android Central revealed that the new iPhone is bulletproof compared to Samsung's flagship phone. The tester in the video dropped both phones from different heights getting higher each time. He starts with a drop from pocket height, then shoulder height, then from his ear and finally from about six feet above a cobblestoned road overlooking Hong Kong's waterfront. The iPhone 5 did not show any signs of damage, with no cracks in the display. Even from the highest position, the iPhone only had cosmetic damage to the edges. The Galaxy S III: The phone survived a pocket drop with ease, but from the shoulder height major cracks appeared on the display. More cracks resulted from the ear-height test, and the plastic back flew right off when it hit.
